Terms & Conditions

A product purchased from AKE International ltd may be returned for the following reasons;

If the product arrives faulty or damaged.
If the product is incorrect due to an error or misinformation - this must be reported within 7 days of receiving the product(s)
The customer finds the product unsuitable, is dissatisfied with the product or has reconsidered the purchase.
Items returned to Ake International ltd for the reasons stated above should do so within 30 days of receipt.

Returned items must meet the following criteria:

All products must be returned as sold, in the original packaging and in resalable condition.
Any free gifts or other additional items delivered with the products must also be returned.

You must obtain a Returns Authorisation Number and label the parcel(s) with it to allow the return to be dealt with in an efficient manner.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
If you would like to return an item please contact returns department AKE International ltd on +44 (0)20 3816 9970 (option 2) to obtain a returns authorisation number. Your parcel will then need to be returned to the following address: Skylon Court, Coldnose Road, Rotherwas Hereford, HR2 6JS, UK

Please note you must organise the return of the items at your expense unless the item is faulty or the order is incorrect due to an error made by AKE International Ltd, if this is the case AKE will arrange for your item to be collected or postage will be refunded. This is at the discretion of AKE International Ltd and cannot be requested.

For some items purchased we may ask the manufacturer to contact you directly to establish the nature of the fault and then depending on the fault we will either organise a repair or replacement or in some instances ask you to liaise with the manufacturer directly.

In some circumstances when products are past their warranty or repairs are outside the warranty a charge may occur.

If you are shipping item(s) over £75.00, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
The product has obvious signs of use
Medical products have been opened
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds: (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same item, send us an email at and send your item to: Skylon Court Coldnose Road, Rotherwas Hereford GB hr26js.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Delivery is charged on all orders at a cost of £6.31 excluding VAT to anywhere within mainland UK (Certain hard to reach areas may incur a courier surcharge) (A surcharge may be charged for items shipped direct from the manufacturer)

Additional surcharges may apply if delivery is to offshore islands, including Northern Ireland, and to various Scottish postcodes north of Glasgow / Edinburgh. AKE International Ltd will seek confirmation from the customer that any adjustment to the quoted cost of carriage is acceptable, prior to dispatch of the order.

On delivery you should inspect the goods carefully for damage as AKE International Ltd is unable to accept responsibility for damage in transit, shortage of delivery or loss of products unless the customer advises us via telephone within four working days from the date of delivery.

Should you require delivery to an address other than the billing address provided, please ensure that you provide the correct information when ordering. If you provide the incorrect address details, your order may be delayed. We reserve the right to only deliver to the billing address.

Additional delivery surcharges may apply to some parts of Scotland, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight, The Channel Islands and other parts of non-mainland United Kingdom.

Cut-Off Times for Orders:
All orders placed before 2.00pm Monday to Friday will be reviewed the same day, and an anticipated delivery time will be sent to you for your information.

For orders placed via the website tracking details will be sent upon dispatch to the email address provided for the order.
